Magnet Magic (ages 5-8)Enjoy discovering the wonders of magnets. Perform experiments to find out what objects are magnetic. Do some “magic tricks” with floating magnets and paper clips. Make your own magnetic materials with Silly Putty. Test the speed of your “dog hound” in a race using magnets. Come join the Fun.Color World (ages 5-8) Do you like to make discoveries about colors? Perform experiments using M&M’s and discover the many hidden colors. Make a color craft to brighten up your world. Enjoy rainbow story time.Wild Weather (ages 5-8)Did you know you can make your own weather? Investigate the wonders of rain, snow and sleet.  Perform experiments to make it “rain” and to create a “tornado” and a “snowstorm” all while staying safe indoors. *A $5.00 materials fee is due to the instructor at the beginning of class.

7:00 PM - 7:45 PM    Acrylic Pouring (Ages 8 to Adult) - Acrylic Pouring - Strainer
Acrylic paint pouring is a form of abstract painting using fluid acrylic paints. You don’t apply the paint with a brush but use gravity to move the paint by pouring, puddling and dripping onto your canvas. It’s a lot of fun and a great way to spark your creative energy!  Dress for a MESS! Acrylic paint does stain, so please dress accordingly.  You will be bringing home a wet painting and will need to let it air dry for several days.* Ages 8 - 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Our Feathered Friends - December 11Go on a birding adventure to discover local bird habitats, their role in the ecosystems we're a part of, and how to protect our feathered friends. Participants will explore outdoor bird habitat in a community science birding walk, go on an indoor birding scavenger hunt to learn more about bird songs and identification, and then discover ways to attract birds to our homes as well as ways to protect them.  We will also create specially designed window-clings for birds!Instructor: Marissa Jacobs, Art of EcologyNovember Location: Newtown Township Administration Building

Come listen to your favorite Christmas music while decorating your very own Gingerbread House.  Houses are already built and ready to decorate.  A variety of candies will be provided for decorating. There will be a craft, games and dancing along with a light snack and drink. The event will end with the kids finding presents under the tree for them to unwrap and take home!
