Students will be up and moving with a variety of multi-sensory learning activities and games. Many kindergarten readiness skills will be addressed in a way that students are having so much FUN they do not even realize they are learning. Have you ever wanted to star in a play you helped create? Join us as students learn all about theatre by doing it themselves! Children are guided, by the instructors, through a process where they play theatre games, create a story, and work together to make that story into a working theatrical production. The participants create their own character, plot, props, costumes, title, and everything else that's needed to make the production complete. You get to play the part you have always dreamed of! Something wonderful right away!  This class exposes students to the rules of improv (listening, saying yes, etc.) through games.  We work on building confidence with coming up with ideas off the top of our heads. A lot of our games are just like the ones from the TV show “Whose Line is it Anyway?”  The final performance is made up of the games we liked the most, completely made up in the moment with suggestions from the audience.

It affects your posture, metabolism, risk of anxiety or depression and can lead to obesity, just to name a few . . .Aesha’s approach to Yoga is an effective training to counter the effects of habitual slumping and spinal compression. In this training we will strengthen the spine, pelvic floor and abdominals, while stretching the tight muscles which lead to a hunched posture. This training will offer simple and practical asanas (poses) for every fitness level. This specialized Yoga program is a fantastic way to combat the negative effects of sitting at a desk all day. This class is also a great way to gauge your child's interest in learning to play piano.

Join our Infant Feeding Support Group led by Certified Breastfeeding Counselor, Jessica Zonkle and Melissa Hunt, RN, IBCLC of Lucky Baby Lactation + Infant Feeding. This group provides a non-judgemental, safe and nurturing environment for parents to come together and receive valuable support and guidance on their infant feeding journey.  During the meetings, parents will have the opportunity to connect with other parents who are going through similar experiences. Our facilitators will offer expert advice and tips. We will have a neonatal scale available at meetings for weight checks and measuring transfer at the breast. Our facilitators will be on hand to interpret the measurements and provide personalized recommendations. Ample time will be provided for parent-to-parent support and open discussions. Whether you are a first-time or seasoned parent our Infant Feeding Support Group is here to provide the knowledge, encouragement, and support you need to navigate your feeding journey with confidence. Acrylic paint pouring is a form of abstract painting using fluid acrylic paints. You don’t apply the paint with a brush but use gravity to move the paint by pouring, puddling, and dripping onto your canvas. It’s a lot of fun and a great way to spark your creative energy! DRESS FOR A MESS! Acrylic paint does stain, so please dress accordingly.* Ages 7 - 10 must be accompanied by an adult.Materials Fee: A $10 materials fee is due to the instructor at the beginning of class.Paintings will remain at the Parks and Recreation Building in order to dry. A lot of our games are just like the ones from the TV show “Whose Line is it Anyway?”  The final performance is made up of the games we liked the most, completely made up in the moment with suggestions from the audience.

This is a hands-on class. Learn how to make your own lotion from scratch. It affects your posture, metabolism, risk of anxiety or depression and can lead to obesity, just to name a few . . .Aesha’s approach to Yoga is an effective training to counter the effects of habitual slumping and spinal compression. In this training we will strengthen the spine, pelvic floor and abdominals, while stretching the tight muscles which lead to a hunched posture. This training will offer simple and practical asanas (poses) for every fitness level. This specialized Yoga program is a fantastic way to combat the negative effects of sitting at a desk all day. Join our Infant Feeding Support Group led by Certified Breastfeeding Counselor, Jessica Zonkle and Melissa Hunt, RN, IBCLC of Lucky Baby Lactation + Infant Feeding. This group provides a non-judgemental, safe and nurturing environment for parents to come together and receive valuable support and guidance on their infant feeding journey.  During the meetings, parents will have the opportunity to connect with other parents who are going through similar experiences. Our facilitators will offer expert advice and tips. We will have a neonatal scale available at meetings for weight checks and measuring transfer at the breast. Our facilitators will be on hand to interpret the measurements and provide personalized recommendations. Ample time will be provided for parent-to-parent support and open discussions.
