Learn about Oak trees and Acorns in a Nutshell. The acorn plays an important role in the life of a towering oak. We will count the number of rings around a trunk cross section to determine a tree’s age. Also, we will discuss the impact acorns have on the number of deer ticks in a particular year. Afterwards, we will make edible, tasty acorns (peanut butter will be used for this).
