The cuisine of Greece bursting with the flavors of the Mediterranean. The cuisine makes wide use of olive oil, lemon, vegetables, and herbs, grains and bread, wine, fish, and lamb, poultry, rabbit and pork, barley, olives, cheese, eggplant, zucchini, and yogurt. Desserts are characterized by nuts, honey and filo. A wonderful dinner of Avgolemono, Lemon Chicken Soup, Moussaka, a lamb and eggplant casserole, Tzatziki, Shrimp with Tomatoes and Feta and Baklava.
